Gambuh Dance

Gambuh is dramatari Balinese dance which is considered the highest quality and is a classic dramatari Bali's most rich in dance movements that are considered as the source of all types of classical dance of Bali.

It is estimated that this Gambuh appeared around the 15th century that lakonnya rooted in Panji stories. Gambuh form of total theater because in it there is interwoven elements of singing, drama & dance, visual arts, literary arts, and others.

Pementasannya in ceremonies such as Odalan Yadnya Gods, such as marriage ceremonies Yadnya Manusa noble family, the ceremony Yadnya Pitra (Ngaben) and others.

Accompanied by gamelan Penggambuhan who barreled pelog Saih Pitu. The characters are usually displayed is Lean, Kakan-kakan, Princess, Arya / Kadean-kadean, Panji (Patih Sweet), Prabangsa (Patih Loud), Demat, Tomonggong, Turas, Panasar and King. In playing these figures all the dancers in dialogue, generally Kawi language, except for figures Turas, and Lean-speaking Panasar Bali, both fine, medium and coarse.

  5. Pedungan (Denpasar) 
  6. Apit Yeh (Tabanan) 
  7. Anturan and Dragon Sepeha (Buleleng)
